It started with a Monday morning call:
"Can you pick up a lost suitcase and get it to the airport?"

Simple enough — until we discovered the luggage had gone missing and ended up in someone else’s possession in Kitchener.

We tracked it down, retrieved it, and stored it safely for three days. The instructions were straightforward: deliver it to Waterloo Regional Airport for a 6PM flight to Saskatoon via Calgary.

Then we double-checked the flight time. It wasn’t 6PM — it was 6AM. That meant a 4AM airport drop.

Pre-dawn, we arrived to surprised WestJet staff who said, “This never happens.” With a calm approach, clear communication, and quick action, the bag was accepted, the flight departed, and the owner was reunited with their luggage.

From Plums to Prototypes — A Lifetime of Saying Yes

In 1981, an eight-year-old with a plum tree started a small business. With a basket of fruit, he went door-to-door saying, “You don’t need to go to the market — I brought the fruit to you.”

That was the first taste of logistics. No van. No GPS. No technology — just initiative and follow- through.
